In partnership with Lochran & Light I lead the Yoga for Runners section of the retreat. This Workshop is designed for all levels of runners (beginners to elite) and yoga practitioners (no experience to advanced). The workshop begins with breath work (pranayama) which is designed to enhance running performance and is interwoven throughout the practice. We then begin to move gently starting with half sun salutations, moving to full sun salutations and vinyasa-style sequences that link strength-building exercises and yoga poses targeting muscle groups specific to running. The physical portion of the workshop ends with longer-held poses aimed at bringing around a deeper release of the connective tissue and tight areas in the body due to running and a guided meditation and deep relaxation.  The purpose of the workshop is to create a mind/body connection to leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and a little more you.
